It finally happened! The World Wide Knit in Public Day was a success. We celebrated our love for knitting and crochet with our friends from PuntoReves and made new friends who share our love of yarn. Knitting in public was such great fun, we are taking our WIP's on the road one more time. This time to celebrate our 5th anniversary! ! June is turning out to be a great month to celebrate. Can't wait till the 19th!

Here it is!! A look at my ever growing pink stash. I had to add a few skeins of orange yarn in there just because it makes the pink so much better. As you can see I have a bit of everything. Mostly cottons yes, but light pinks, dusty rose, corals, fushia, some ribbon and a lovely novelty yarn from Be Sweet Yarns. There is also some Katia, Blue Sky, Debbie Bliss, Louisa Harding and even a bit Knit Picks. Some a left over bits from other proyects, and some are waiting for inspirations to strike. What is your color crush for this season?? Any projects in the works? Share your WIP and your color stash using #puntorevespr. xoxo Natalia Here it is!! A look at my ever growing pink stash. Pink tutus pink bublegum pink cotton candy, its just never been my color. Until recently. I have come to appreciate certain shades of pink, specially those closer to coral and deep bright fushia. For years I've neglected the color from my life, my wardrobe and my stash. And yet here I am, working on a few motifs in a bright pink cotton yarn. Maybe soon I'll take a peak at my growing pink-ish stash. I have hated pink for as long as I can remember. Pink tutus pink bublegum pink cotton candy, its just never been my color. Until recently.

After the last post, and few weeks posting skein after skein, I really thought I had run out new merchandise to post till the summer. Until a few seconds ago when these beauties showed up in my inbox. I must admit I have to see/feel them in person, I'll be sure to pop by the shop tomorrow. But how can resist yarn, even on Sunday !
And with that, I wish you a Sunday funday filled with yarn and creativity. xoxo Natalia Spring is officially here, and with it a whole new set of possibilities. We have all been stocking up on cotton yarn, and now its time for something different and a luxurious. Ancient Arts linnen ans silk blend. It's the perfect yarn for summer pieces and accessories. The rich color of these yarns is made even better by the 700+ yards en each skein.
We all know how fasr yarn flies iff the shelves here, so do spring indeed. xoxo Natalia |
