Here it is!! A look at my ever growing pink stash. I had to add a few skeins of orange yarn in there just because it makes the pink so much better. As you can see I have a bit of everything. Mostly cottons yes, but light pinks, dusty rose, corals, fushia, some ribbon and a lovely novelty yarn from Be Sweet Yarns. There is also some Katia, Blue Sky, Debbie Bliss, Louisa Harding and even a bit Knit Picks. Some a left over bits from other proyects, and some are waiting for inspirations to strike.

What is your color crush for this season?? Any projects in the works? Share your WIP and your color stash using #puntorevespr.

I have hated pink for as long as I can remember. Pink tutus pink bublegum pink cotton candy, its just never been my color. Until recently.

I have come to appreciate certain shades of pink, specially those closer to coral and deep bright fushia. For years I've neglected the color from my life, my wardrobe and my stash. And yet here I am, working on a few motifs in a bright pink cotton yarn. Maybe soon I'll take a peak at my growing pink-ish stash.

The Unexpected Perk Of Crochet

One hook, one skein, and maybe a placr to sit. That  is all I need to make time waiting a great pleasure. I prefer the foor. It's readily available and being as I am usually on the floor with the kids, I am used to it.

Since I picked up yarn arts, I rarely have to just wait. At the doctor's, the passport agency, even at the post office in rush hour. Entertainment, the kind that does not depend on batteries or reception, is at tip of my fingers.

Crochet is my favorite on the go yarn craft. It requires just one hook, about the size of a pen, and yarn. I think it is the easiest to carry, and the most versatile with the fewest tools. What's not to love?!?

After a few days in bed with terrble vertigo, I woke up this morning to find color and beauty just outside my window. Spring seems to have sprung a bit early, a quick instagram glance proves it's  not just around here.
These beautiful zinnias are my favorite kind flower. For two seasons straight I have managed to grow them and enjoy the varied and colorful blooms in the garden and around the house.
I just love the color inspiration cut flowers provide.  A quick raid of the old stash drawers made for a beautiful early morning shoot.
Grab a cup of tea and feel inspired!
